Another quick conceptual color sketch I was commissioned to do recently! \u00a0For kids with cancer, this shows an addition (on the left) to an existing facility (on the right)\u2026.Proposed by Steinberg of San Jose, CA, these sketches refer to the JW House\u00a0located in Santa Clara, CA\u2026.Steinberg hires Jeffrey Michael George as a freelance architectural illustrator to help get approvals on their many projects in and around the San Francisco Bay Area\u2026.The primary function of this image is to raise funds for the potential project\u2026.Not intended to be a photo-realistic representation of a detailed design, sketches like these are intended to show a \u201cfeel\u201d or \u201cflavor\u201d of the project\u2019s character, with landscape and context\u2026.As the artist, I invent much of the architecture, massing, and detail (based on my knowledge of the architect\u2019s intentions and predilections)\u2026.Sometimes it\u2019s more fun to wing it !<\/p>\n
